Sculptures hand-carved from lava stone

All the statues are hand-carved from Basanite lava stone, which has been extracted from the Indonesian volcanic islands for centuries. Bazanite is relatively resistant to frost, but compared to basalt, as we know it in our country, it is a soft and porous stone.

Therefore, if you want to leave it in the garden all winter, we recommend treating it with a stone protection product against weathering. A number of products based on nano technology are available on the market. Without treatment, the statues weather more quickly and when water flows into the cracks and subsequently freezes, cracks can form and the stone then degrades quickly.
